GENERAL INFORMATION
What is
it? Arkansas Winter
Family Retreat, hereinafter referred to as AWFR, is a ministry of the James A.
Brettell Bible Ministries. The purpose
of this winter camp is to perpetuate the spiritual momentum established by the
Southeastern Youth Camps (SEYC), Arkansas Youth Camp (AYC), the Florida Camp,
the Pennsylvania Camp, Ohio Camp, and the Arizona Camp. It is the desire of AWFR to continue to
equip and encourage campers to live a spiritual life by providing sound Bible
teaching and opportunities to apply that teaching. Youth who have difficulty functioning under authority should
not apply. Applicants who refuse to
function under authority will be dismissed from camp. There are other camps designed to handle that type of applicant.
