I have wanted to stream video of my Bible studies for several years.  Early on, the cost of necessary equipment was prohibitive for me.  Also, the technology that created the streaming was so embryonic that I found it undesirable to pursue it at that time.  Today, both the cost and technology have reached the point where it is now worthy of pursuit.

I want to thank both Rick and Jason Torrence of Bebee, Arkansas, members of the Bible Doctrine Church of Little Rock, and faithful members of my Monday night Bible class, for this first upload dated 11/21/05.  Rick, the father, provided the camera and the filming, and Jason, the son, provided the conversion from DVD format to Windows Media Video (.wmv) and Windows Media Audio (.wma) formats that compress the file for manageable uploading and streaming.

It is possible that anyone restricted to a dial-up modem will have difficulty managing the streaming of these files due to the amount of time required to access the streaming.  We'll know as soon as we begin to receive some feedback.

This first file dated 11/21/05 is our first attempt at recording.  The lighting is not good and will be improved in the recording of the study on 11/28/05.  Also, the picture is somewhat fuzzy because the settings that were established to record were set with an attempt to get the entire study on one DVD.  This resulted in a fuzzy picture.  That will also be improved on the 11/28/05 DVD.  We are in a learning curve, and ask your patience.  We will improve as we move along from week-to-week.

This we know.  We are are the right track and we are on the move for the honor and glory of the One whom we serve--His Name is Jesus Christ.  To Him be honor and glory.  Amen.

HOW TO START VIDEOS

Inside the "black screen" is the word "ready" (lower left corner).  Directly under that word is a circular button with a triangle on its side.  That's the START button.  Place your cursor over that button.  It will say "play."  Click "play" on the video you want to watch and the video will start.  If you will then double click your left mouse button in the middle of the video picture, the video picture should should greatly increase in size.*
