TESTIMONY TIME

The following comments represent the thoughts of those who have written regarding the AWYC 2004.  Thanks to all who have written.  It is my considered opinion that God will use the testimonies of those who write to enhance enrolment for next year's camp, December 27 - 30, 2005, to be conducted again at the 4-H Center in Ferndale, Arkansas.

Thanks for the recap. 
 
I considered it a privilege to be able to serve at the AWYC. 
 
Both my children expressed their gratitude at being able to attend the camp this year. Faith of course loved the games with Rick Blackwood (she thinks it is so neat that he is her cousin and he comes to do those fun things with them).  Hunter enjoyed being somewhere other than home under mom & dad's watchful eyes for a few days!  I also know that having unlimited soda and some pretty girls around was a bonus for him! 
 
I am always amazed at the renewed, refreshed spirit of my children after they have attended a church camp or a Horton or Joiner weekend at our church.
 
Thank you for all your effort to provide our children with spiritual equipment to face the battle of the Christian Way of Life.

Dr. Jim,

You are so thorough, you make the rest of us stand up and listen!  What a wonderful time we had at AWYC!  I am so thankful for the turnout, and how blessed we were to be there.  I hope that you will pencil Monty and I in for next year's camp as Teen Directors, or in whatever capacity you see fit for us.  We had a great time, the fellowship was wonderful, relationships built, and old ones strengthened.  The classes were, to say the least, challenging, humbling, and encouraging.  What a wonderful group of teachers. . . .
