GIVING OUT OF POVERTY
This page is designed to teach the principle of "giving out of poverty," a principle taught by the Apostle Paul when encouraging the Corinthian Christians to contribute to the poverty stricken Christians at Jerusalem. Paul used the poor Macedonian Christians as the example of "giving out of poverty" to motivate the Corinthian Christians to contribute from "what they had."
A LOOK AT MACEDONIAN GIVING
they began too poor to give
they gave themselves to the Lord
the Lord provided
they gave what the Lord provided
they started poor, they gave, they ended poor
My desire is to encourage the membership and friends of the membership of the Little Rock NetChurch to "give out of poverty" toward the By His Grace Ministries Sound Doctrinal Studies Training Center and Mindanao Vision Family/Youth Camp Facilities ministry project. Here's the link that will acquaint you with the project: http://byhisgraceministries.com/trainingcenter.htm
By His Grace Ministries is the ministry of our dear friend, Rev. Darryl Anderson. The estimated budget to complete the "training center" phase of this project is $53,000.00 US.
Here is the method of "giving out of poverty:"
1. Acknowledge that you are truly a born-again Christian.
2. Be clean before the Lord through your confession of all your known personal sins.
3. Be functioning from the source of your "new-man" through the application of "Operation KRRY."
4. Tell God the Father that you want to be a vessel through which He can pour finances to be given to this ministry project.
5. Ask God to provide finances for you to give to this ministry project.
6. When finances
come to you that are "unexpected" and "undesignated," these funds should be
considered as having come from
the Lord in answer to your request.
7. These "unexpected" and "undesignated" funds should be given to the ministry project.
8. Do not limit God. He may provide several times and in different in manners.
"Giving out of poverty" does not expect those whose desire it is to participate to give out of their means, that is, from their checking accounts, their savings accounts, or their pay checks. "Giving out of poverty" is giving the Lord's "unexpected and undesignated" provision.
A link is provided so that we can follow the progress of what God is doing by way of funding this magnificent project:

The first $1,027.00 has come from three friends of the Little Rock NetChurch who heard about this project when I mentioned it in my Monday Night Home Bible Study in the recent past. They have "given out of poverty" by following the guidelines set out above. Will you make yourself available to God -- and watch what he is about to do.
If you have any questions, you can either e-mail Dr. Jim or e-mail Darryl.
Resting in Him,
Dr. Jim
