The Story Behind This Page

The opportunities for my ministry continue to expand, some in ways expected, and some in ways about which I had no previous knowledge.  God just continues to open doors. 

·        I was privileged to speak at the SEYC (Leadership Camp) in March 2005. March 2006.

·        I was privileged to lead the AYC 2005 Junior Camp June 13-17, 2005, July 12-16, 2006

·        I was privileged to speak at the SEYC (teen camp) in July 2005, July 2006

·        I was privileged to speak at the SEYC (Family Retreat) in July 2005

·        I was the Director of the Arkansas Winter Family Retreat in December 27-30, 2004, December 27-30, 2005

·        I led a team of people to Davao City, Mindanao, September 21-Octover 4, 2005, for a Pastor’s conference and evangelistic outreach

·        I was the co-leader of an RTP Conference with Mr. Ed Ford, November 11-13, 2005

·        I will be the Director of the Arkansas Winter Family Retreat in December 27-30, 2006

·        I am working on a book entitled “Discipline in the Christian Home”

·        My e-mail and internet ministry (using SKYPE) continues to develop—guiding Pastors and Bible teachers both inside and outside the United States (brethren, this one can become huge)

·        I am the founder and director of  "On-line International School of Practical Ministry" (OLISPM) to train Bible communicators world-wide: currently 2 students

·        I conduct a weekly Monday Night Home Bible Study in my home

·        I am the speaker on a daily thirty minute (Monday thru Friday) local radio station -- KMTL 760 AM

·        I am the speaker on a daily thirty minute (Monday thru Friday) local radio station -- Victory 1530AM and it is simultaneously streamed to the internet over www.victory1530.com

·        My Monday Night Home Bible Study is streamed to the internet on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 - 8:15 PM, over www.victory1530.com

·        I write and produce a video message called "5 Minutes with Dr. Jim" that can be viewed on my web site.

·        I have developed three web sites, two of which remain active:  www.brettell.org and www.olispm.com

·        From my home in Maumelle, Arkansas, I teach a weekly Home Bible Study in Las Vegas, Nevada, using the SKYPE program.
