12/15/2005: Question: Are "nephilim" angels
created by God? Answer: No. God did not create the nephilim.
They were the "giants of Genesis 6:4 (KJV). They were 1/2 angel, 1/2 man
born to the "daughters of men (Genesis 6:4)." This was Satan's strategy to
destroy the human race so that there would be no humanity remaining through
which Jesus Christ, as God, could become man to die for the sins of the world.
God destroyed the human race through the Noahic flood. The nephilim also
died in the Noahic flood. God then started a new civilization through Noah, his
sons, and their wives who survived the flood by way of the ark.
