Non-Profit, Tax Exempt Status

The James A. Brettell Bible Ministries is a State of Arkansas Non-profit Corporation, and is a tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Code.

Justifying Contributions

Quite honestly, there is no need to justify contributions to the James A. Brettell Bible Ministries, however, there are so many ministries using all kinds of "gimmicks" to motivate giving that I thought it appropriate to address this issue.

The James A. Brettell Bible Ministries does not and will not use any form of "gimmick" to motivate contributions into its ministries.  It will not solicit, beg, coerce, badger or use sad stories to excite emotion to motivate giving.

If  the Holy Spirit does not lead a believer to give into this ministry, nothing should be given, no matter how legitimate this ministry may be.

It is my personal opinion that spiritual men and woman recognize a legitimate ministry when they see it, while at the same time recognizing the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the end result being a one-time contribution or regular support of that ministry.

I further believe that when ministry objectives and goals are consistent with divine vision, and when that vision is set forth for others to see, and when the integrity of the ministry leader is known to those within the family of God, God the Father who is the Author of that vision will motivate those believers whom He has prepared to give into that ministry.
